Sardi's Honors

Well, besides turning a fantastic 68 on Monday, our girl was honored with a picture at Sardi's, along with Stacy Keach and Rachel Griffiths. The event happened yesterday and the entire cast ventured out to support one another.

Pictures and Article can be found here.

I still don't understand why Stacy's is just of his head.

17th Precinct

We all thought there was never going to be a chance to see the Ron Moore (of Battlestar Galactica fame) fantasy detective show with our girl in it. However, someone graciously uploaded it to Vemio. SO WATCH IMMEDIATELY, KIDS!

Also, write SyFy to pick up the series. Not like it's unheard of, reviving a series order after the show has been turned down elsewhere.

NEWS

News news, I got some news. News news news, it won't bring the blues.

Okay, so I have a few things for all my kidlets.

Thomas Sadoski Departing ODC ((FOR AARON SORKIN'S NEW SHOW. SMALL WORLD?))
Stockard Out of ODC because of Knee Injury ((GET BETTER!))
Film Rights for OCD PICKED UP!

So, hopefully they'll carry over most of the cast (Stockard and Stacy especially). Enjoy the read

ALSO, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to my American kidlets. May you get fat and have to roll home.

OMG WTF EVEN?

So, Stockard's ASK A STAR came out today. She answered my question, did she answer yours?

GO WATCH RIGHT NOW. SERIOUSLY.

Nov. 18th, 2011

So guess what I gots, kids. Just guess. OH THAT IS RIGHT, VIDEOS!!!

OPENING NIGHT VIDEO.
Word of Mouth Reviews

I'm sure there will be more coming since the show is now Open Ended.

Want to live near Stockard?

I bet you were all wondering, era_raydor, how could I live near Stockard? The answer is very simple, kid. All you need is $2Million. See? Told you it was easy. AND you are in luck because K.D. Lang just put her house up on the market. It's asking price is $2Million. Your neighbors would also be Will Ferrell and Rumer Willis. See? Aren't you glad you know?

Another tidbit of info is that Other Desert Cities is now OPEN ENDED! This means that there is OFFICIALLY no closing date for the show right now. That doesn't mean Stockard will stay in it the whole time, but they've had 100% Capacity for their shows, so I don't think it matters right now. STILL go see it ASAP because it's so beautiful. Some people are saying that you might want to wait until AFTER the Holidays because it's such a mind fuck and about people being together for the Holidays. See what I'm saying? So it's entirely up to you, but as of right now, you have a while to see it.

Opening Night!

As I've stated in other posts, Other Desert Cities opened on Broadway. Which means there's opening night parties, and opening night pictures among other things. So, here's the rounds. Enjoy.

READ! WRITE! ASK?

As most of you know, Other Desert Cities officially OPENS on Broadway tomorrow. Okay, most of you may not have known that, but I'll forgive you. Because of this, several articles have been published to get the word out.

Fired after creating 'Brothers & Sisters' for TV, Jon Robin Baitz says his Broadway play 'Other Desert Cities' fulfills what he hoped the series would have become.

STOCKARD'S ASK A STAR! WHERE YOU CAN ASK HER WHATEVER IS ON YOUR MIND!

Just make sure if your question is chosen to be answered, you share as such with the rest of the class. Have fun reading!

BACKSTAGE ARTICLE

We have heard this all before, I'm sure, though there's some of you who may not.

Backstage caught up with our girl and talked about her life and Other Desert Cities.

EXCERPT:
Good-humored, straightforward, and refreshingly devoid of pretension, Channing says frankly that she wasn't sure she could pull Polly off, mostly because the tastefully coiffed lady in question is so unappealing. "You don't want to play a character you can't inhabit or commit to fully," Channing says. "I had to find my way into this person without commenting on her, while still allowing her to be who she is. Initially, I didn't see her depth or the depth of this family's journey. At the end they are naked emotionally. There are no heroes and no villains and no one to blame. There is so much that's unspoken. Polly is tough, and she is a mother in every sense of the word. She is a lioness and protects her family."

WE CALL THIS PERFECTION

Here is the old production with Stockard and Elizabeth Marvel. Ladies and gentlemen, we call this PERFECTION.
